Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026

This page explains how The Quiet File uses cookies and similar tools (local storage, pixels, tags). It works with our Privacy Policy.

Your choice

The first time you visit, a banner asks you to accept or reject optional cookies. Necessary tools run either way. Optional ads cookies stay off until you press Accept all. Reopen the banner with Cookie settings in the footer.

Necessary

These keep the site usable. They do not require an extra opt-in under typical EU/UK rules for strictly necessary storage.

Optional (ads and measurement)

These load only after Accept all. They help us see if a Facebook or Google ad brought you here, reduce fake clicks, and (where allowed) make ads more relevant.

Until you accept, we do not fire those tags.

How to control cookies yourself

You can also block cookies in your browser settings, use a tracker blocker, or visit Google ad settings, Facebook ad preferences, YourAdChoices, or Your Online Choices.
